My name is Mariana and I'm a young woman born and raised in Viseu! I'm proud to be a true Beira Alta person who knows the depths of Viseu's past and present.



Since I was little, I have always loved History and Art. As someone who prioritizes social topics and loves to be in touch with people, I enrolled at the mythical University of Coimbra to study Journalism.

After some years in the communication and sales industry,  I decided to become a tour guide.  Since 2023, I've worked in local museums in Viseu (Keill Amaral and Almeida Moreira) and at a Douro wine farm (Quinta do Seixo).

My most recent experience with Portugal Cultural Experience company allowed me to specialize in premium walking tours in Coimbra! There, I refined my skills, and even though that opportunity came to an end, my love for guiding tours persisted. Hence why I created my own tours in Viseu during my unemployment.

Currently, I work full-time in Coimbra in the tourism sector, so my life is divided between that city and my amazing hometown!

Even though my main focus are the visits in Viseu, I'm also open to any arrangements in  Coimbra in case you want to explore the City of Students too!
